Craftsy Shop Closing

Some of you may have heard whispers about more Craftsy changes coming up. Many sellers were notified just before Christmas (including me) that their shops were going to be closed on the 28th December.  Some select shops will be permitted to continue to sell however their stock will be reduced and no new products can be added. This has left many sellers scrambling during the busy Christmas period to find another venue to sell their products. At this stage I will just be transferring designs that were previously only available on Craftsy to The Embroidery Chest shop here. If you have purchased from The Embroidery Chest on Craftsy you should still be able to access your designs through your Craftsy account, however it may be best to download them to a backup just in case as I may not be able to assist with lost designs from customers who purchased from there once changes have been implemented.

Shop Direct from Website Almost Ready

After quite some time and lots of behind the scenes work, shopping directly from our website will soon be possible.

We finally have the necessary https, SSL Certificate and website security to keep all customer information protected. The work is now to add lots of designs to the store that have been safely tucked away ready to be shared. Of course you will still be able to purchase designs through the Embroidery Chest Craftsy Shop if you prefer.

There may be some random freebies offered whilst I get busy adding products for the store. They won’t necessarily be announced on the website but I may send a quick email to subscribers. I will keep them up for 24 hours only, so you will need to be quick in order to get them.
In the meantime feel free to pop by the website and set up an account. If there are any problems please let me know so we can get to work on sorting them out. You can click the shop name above or google search for The Embroidery Chest

All designs are manually digitized and tested before release. I mostly use my own artwork or that of my daughters who provide so much inspiration. Sometimes I purchase artwork to use but this will be noted on the product page.

Occasionally I require testers for my designs so keep an eye out when the request goes out. Testers will receive the design free of charge in return for detailed photos and feedback.

If you have not subscribed already you can sign up for the latest updates (link is on the left side of the page). Please let your friends know so they can join in and receive freebies too. Looking forward to this new journey.

Decorating Easter Eggs – Embroidery Style

I have been decorating for Easter with my new Dainty Easter egg designs. I love it when designs are versatile and can be used for more than just one project. Sometimes I just want to make something but time is short so I like to embroider quick projects where I can. They are quick to stitch and lightweight making them perfect for last minute gifts. These designs are perfect to decorate finished items, be turned into pretty Easter ornaments or embroidered with an initial in the centre. I have even included a little Happy Easter saying if you want to use the eggs for gift tags. They are a spin off from my dainty heart design that was released for Valentine’s Day last month. You will see there is one egg in the set that has the same stitches as the dainty heart.
